I read that the POG game machines have the ability to communicate with a host through SAS Channeling. I'm interested in what type of equipment is used as the host and what software is utilized for bi-directional communication? I searched online and haven't found anything about pre existing software or what type of software is needed in order to transmit logs back and forth.

The images on the board look like there are 5 cat-5 plugs is that right? I'm assuming these are used for dual channeling and maybe additional devices?
