Post by: vtyler on March 26, 2013, 11:34:48 PM sorry for reserecting an old post but we got in a lot of vision moniters at work usually we pull the software and scrap the moniter, but we got one that is out of dick clard with the light surround/controller cd drive both cf cards and the cd. having 3 techs that have never seen one with a cd drive i just wanted to know is this version worth anything or should we just scrap it like all the rest?

Post by: vtyler on March 27, 2013, 12:28:43 AM ya one of the guys looking at it kept saying it was to a reel touch but i have seen real touch displays its definitely a vision. didn't know they had ide or gpio on the visions makes me wonder if they can be hacked to do anything.

Hardware software protections aren't usually that difficult to get around, and are mainly in place to protect the software I would be surprised to find it can't run custom code.
