Title: S2000 Door Errors Post by: sbsgroup on April 28, 2012, 05:33:22 PM I am getting the door open m error, cant seem to figure out how to clear. I also get the b but it seems to be tied to the cash box, if I jump the switch it seems to go away. I still can figure the open m error. I also have a problem with only one speaker working if I change the wiring from one to the other the speaker i change to works so I know the speakers are OK but cant tell about why only one. Thanks for any help in advance.

Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on April 28, 2012, 07:02:44 PM I believe that the switch on the belly door and not an optic that has to be lined up. You can bend the metal tab that holds this switch out just a little to insure that the switch will close when the door does.

Woohoo!! Two thousand posts and most of them helpful :wa Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: lindam1 on April 28, 2012, 09:47:24 PM If the cash door won't stay closed, just make a little bend in the door (lock side) so it rubs on the case. That will hold it closed.
Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: sbsgroup on April 28, 2012, 10:29:19 PM Thanks for the door advise, still getting the door errors both M and B lost the B for a while but came back now I have both. This is very frustrating.
Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: lindam1 on April 28, 2012, 10:51:40 PM Error M. The optic censor is on the door lock. make sure you push the lock ALL the way down. Also check the alignment of lock censor and the optic. If they are not perfect you get the error. Error B the cash box switch could be bad. bypass with a piece of wire.

Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: cowboygames on April 28, 2012, 11:30:14 PM Not at all, but the one you're worried about is on the enclosure door. It's a micro switch you can bypass by tying the two wires going to it together. There's also a bypass for the door optics that's easy to do and very helpful
Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: sbsgroup on April 28, 2012, 11:36:13 PM my enclosure door has two switches do you tye both sets together, and how do you bypass the door optics.
Thanks Title: Re: S2000 Door Errors Post by: cowboygames on April 28, 2012, 11:46:26 PM I think you'll find one of those probably doesn't go anywhere anyway if you trace the wires back. Keep in mind though that the closure B won't clear unless the main door shows closed so your whole problem may be with the main door optics. Do a search for "s2000 door optics bypass" and you'll find all the info you need
