Title: VLC 8724-nv winning touch slot-need to clear / reset Post by: nvanderm on April 30, 2012, 02:57:07 AM :99-I have this VLC 8724-nv winning touch slot that until recntly worked fine. Then the main system battery died when it wasn't plugged in for at least a year and after having it replaced with a larger soldered battery, the system gets this "Reset Fail 50 Address 00D972CA" error when the system is set to tournment mode or regular game mode.
I followed the suggestion of pulling the chip (150-07f0) from U35 and powering up then re-inserting the chip and I can go through all the admin choices but when the system is put back into play mode the same error comes up. The date is also set to 1947. The Main board is numbered 778-101-001. Anyone having any information on how or who to contact to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated. Also where would I find a service manual for it? :131- |
