Title: Bally Topper
Post by: bruno on May 01, 2012, 09:22:21 PM
Hi all,
I have several Bally toppers (all led - initially made for the Alpha series) that run on 6000 by using 2 power adapters (5vdc for the chaser & 24vdc for the backlit board).
They work fine.
I just get another one (Hot Shot Progressive).
After making the same hookup, the chaser works fine but the backlit leds flash (others light continuously).
Did I missed something or is it due to this particular model ?
Thanks, Bruno    :88-

I'm not that familiar with Bally toppers, but I do have one Bally topper with the LED back-light. Does the back lit board look like it has more circuitry than the others? Can you try another 24V PS? I've seen some power supplies that will start to "cycle" if they are at their current limit.

Thanks poppo,
I'm gonna find another 24v adapter and follow your advice.
I'll let you know. Thank you.
