Post by: keith on May 03, 2012, 07:58:41 PM

Hi Keith,
According to the pics, it seems that the displays are from Mikohn Cham II+ (standalone).
The 2 major settings for a proper operation of the progressive are :
> PSP section 1 (jackpot programming) : mainly F4 (machine type) & F8 (communication)
> Machine options (test 11d) : options 02, 07 & 78Lo
For Bally 5500 & 6000, I recommend you read the excellent post by StatFreak >>> newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=7606.0 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=7606.0)
All my 6000s (with Mikohn) follow these settings, and it works terrific !
Bruno

Keith,

I can help you with the Quick Hit
First off in the psp menu set it as follows
under Jackpot programming:

F3-MANY
F4-M08
F8-MS00

F6 as follows
JPO= 10,000 NO INCREMENT this is the top award meaning 3 quick hits on the pay line
even though you're award glass has a 5000 sticker it should be 10,000

JP1=1000 WITH INCREMENT set that to you're liking
this will trigger when 3 Quick Hits land in any position.

Next set the chamII+ for SA1

Now in the Bally 11d menu as follows
02-5... if not using 485 connection otherwise 02=4 using 485
07-2... if set to 1 it will not trigger the 3 in any position
18-1

I have seen that older Mikohn software will not let you choose SA1
can't remember if it was v2.05 or below but I run v2.11
anyway this should get you up and running.
Good luck and report back.

This should also help other members setting up these types of Quick Hits.

Tim

Oh here's a short vid of what you want the machine to do after hitting the Quick Hits
