Title: 11/12 software Post by: brianfink on May 03, 2012, 11:14:58 PM Just wondering will a wba 11 transport from an s+ work in an s2000 with the right software. I know that wba 11 uses 1001 chip and wba 12 uses 4001 chip and the IDO is different for s+ and s2000. Do I just need to put the software from wba 12 on a 1001 chip for it to work or is there a other software I need or are they just not compatible.

Title: Re: 11/12 software Post by: JCM Tech on May 04, 2012, 05:09:55 AM The WBA 12 software will not work in a WBA 11 CPU. You can however convert the WBA by changing the CPU board and Harnessing. Check which harness you have in the S2000. If it has 20 pins you need the WBA 12 CPU and harness. If it has 12 pins, you need ID-024 software for your WBA 11.
The WBA 10 and 11 use a CPU that takes a 1 meg program. The WBA 12 and 13 use a 4 meg program. other than the CPU board and harness, the rest of the unit is identical. |
