Title: Stand along mode Post by: cary on May 10, 2012, 05:47:19 AM How to set the reel touch gaming machine to standalong mode
does it relate to the chip version?? Title: Re: Stand along mode Post by: stayouttadabunker on May 10, 2012, 12:13:08 PM My guess is that you meant to say "stand-alone" mode?
I think it depends on what chips you have installed on you machine...not JUST the version chips. If you report back on what chips you have installed - I'm sure some of our members that have worked with the Reel Touch platform - will be able to help you out ! :89- Remember, the more you can tell us - the better we can help you. Title: Re: Stand along mode Post by: cp on May 10, 2012, 02:31:14 PM I'm kinda puzzled by this one too! I've never seen a Reel Touch with a progressive built in... unless it was on a bank of Reel Touches with a "linked" progressive meter above the bank of machines. I think a simple Clear / Key would put the machine back to default non-progressive (if that's actually the issue).

Base chip : SB000544 Version chip :VS011IX1 Stepper GME :SG000354 I'll try to put the machine back to default status thanks for the reply Title: Re: Stand along mode Post by: stayouttadabunker on May 11, 2012, 02:31:24 AM Your Version chip is very strange... :5-
I've never seen an VS011IX1. :60- Is your keyboard putting out wrong characters? :128- What are those symbols in front of your Version and SG chip numbers? :103- Title: Re: Stand along mode Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 02:44:06 AM Those are colons Bunker and they're not printed on the chip. I've had 2 reel touch machines and neither had a place for progressive display. You need a key 45 chip so you can disable that progressive stuff in the key chip menus. As stated above, the casino probably had it hooked up to a WAP system. Does your Jackpot award window have a decal with a specific amount listed? Version chip has nothing to do with progressive abilities, I beleive that's controlled by the SG chips and yours are fine. Your version chip will allow multi-denom operation if you choose to set it up. You might also do well with a clear 224 chip
