How can I tell if my slot machine is a 9" or 16". Where are they measured from. Thanks Rick.

Rick,

That size is referring to the Top Box (Award Glass actually) above the main cabinet. If your top box has a flat top, and the glass area is roughly around 9" then you have a 9" machine, if your top box has a taller top that slants to the back and the glass is around 16" you have a 16" machine. The actual height above the main cabinet varies as there are more than one configurations of player tracking bracket heights, or there may be no player tracking brackets at all. So there is not usually one exact measurement, rather a couple of possibilities... Hopefully that is not too confusing... I will borrow a few pics from the web to give a visual example... The first one is a 9" Triple Diamond 9L machine. The second is a Red White and Blue 16" machine shot at the right angle to see the slat at the top going back. I guess I stole it from one of our members, Ohio Gaming. I better get a royalty check in the mail, or at least owe them a  :259- :208-
