Post by: rickaaaer on May 19, 2012, 08:11:12 PM
I put a set 90 chip in my s+ 16mhz machine..I got a 90 in the credits window and 00000 in the winner paid window. I guess my game options did not need to be upgraded ,because I did not get a 65-3. I do not know what all of the settings need to be on. This is a in home machine.Could someone  help me out..Thanks  Rick

What are you trying to do?  Without that knowledge, we can't tell you what the settings need to be!   :71-

This is a s+ machine. When I turn the machne on I get a 61 error. Then I press the test button and get a 61-1. Close the door and use the reset key. I then get a 65-3 error. I thought this was because I needed to use the set90 chip. Oh, I'm new at this.( Does it show)

Yes, it does.  :)   :96-

You do not need to use the set chip at the point you're at.

If you haven't seen it, there's a link to a list of common IGT S+ errors and their resolutions in a sticky post at the top of the S+ section.

Here is a direct link to the page: http://www.newlifegames.net/igterrors/

If you look at 65-3, there are two different solutions.  Follow the second one, which is to turn the jackpot reset key once you're at 65-3.  That will bring you to 65-2 or 65-1.  Follow the directions on that page to get past those errors.
