Title: S2000 Game King coinless to coin Post by: lmt on May 22, 2012, 12:57:29 AM I recently acquired an S2000 Game King model 96407600, the machine was a coin machine but now is configured for coinless operation. I have ordered a hopper and coin head, the comparator is already installed. How do I program the S2000 to recognize the hopper and play with coins?
Title: Re: S2000 Game King coinless to coin Post by: Foster on May 22, 2012, 04:46:12 AM You need a Key 17.or 22 depending on your game chips. There might be others key/clears available
FYIL Game King and S2090 are both i960 platform game machines. Game King is a video based slot machine. S2000 is stepper based slot machine, has physical reels in the main cabinet if it has LCD behind the award glass (top box) and no ears a Vision model. If it has a LCD that you can touch and a light ring that can change colors it is most likely a S2000 Reel Touch. IF you need to know how to do the physical stuff see my post about S2000 coinless to coin here is the link http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=18423.0 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=18423.0) I have never configured a Game King so the Game King Gurus will have to explain the key chip areas that need to be looked at and/or changed. Welcome to the site. :238- As Foster mentioned, a S2000 and a Game King are two different machines. A S2000 is a 3, 4, or 5 physical spinning reel slot machine. A Game King is a video touchscreen machine with assorted video poker and video slot titles. Model numbers typically don't tell us much, however a Google search points to the fact that it's a Game King video machine (not an S2000 slot), so I'm moving this post to the Game King section. Please let us know exactly which machine you have (or post a picture of it if you're not sure) so that we can provide you with better information. Title: Re: S2000 Game King coinless to coin Post by: Buzz on May 29, 2012, 02:00:34 PM Key 040 is the only Key chip I've ever needed for a Game King with a 3802/3902 board and I've cleared and keyed a bunch of them !!!! You have a good chance that a Key 17 will work, Key 22 usually is used for a I game.

Title: Re: S2000 Game King coinless to coin Post by: lmt on May 31, 2012, 03:08:32 AM Making progress! The machine is Game King 13" upright, the base is 19.25" wide. I acquired an 18.5" pay tray that measures 20.5" wide with the endcaps. Does not fit.
- What size pay tray do I need? - The screw holes on the faceplate and the base do not match the screw locations on the endcaps. What am I missing? Title: Re: S2000 Game King coinless to coin Post by: Buzz on May 31, 2012, 04:14:21 AM I don't have a 13" GK but I do have a 17" I Game and the tray is 18 3/4 ' outside the end caps. My S+, 19" GK, and S 2000 trays are 20 1/2" outside end caps. In the past with the aid of a chop saw and a drill motor I've cut down Bally 5500 trays to fit Mid. cabnet machines.
