Title: Help with chips Post by: bhinkley on May 26, 2012, 06:05:02 PM I am in need of help with some chips in my s2000. I have been trying to find the 27c801 or 27c080 with no luck as well as the 27c1001 or 27c010 chips and the 27c4002 chip. Does anyone know alternative chips I can use on these as well as which chip number would be needed for the ss4470 chip as well?

Not sure where you have been looking but they are readily available from many sources...How many of each are you looking for? I may be able to help. The SS chip goes on a 27c64 or you can use 27c128, 256 or 512 if you use a fill proceedure. What burner are you using? I need a bunch of the gme chip ones (6), the base chip I need 2, the ss chip 1, and the version chip 1. I have been searching all over with google, and everyplace I find the chip numbers they say not available.
