Hey Guys, I am just messing around with my first S2000.. Must say they are a very nice machine. I have it just about set up the way I like.. but i keep getting "bill validator comm failure" on the screen

I went into menu and turned off bill validator, as well set bill limit to 0000.00

but it still wants to see it there.. Is there away around this? Do I have to do a full clear first?

btw..never done a full clear on an S2000, I am familiar with the set chip (17) though..

(made a coin input device, set machine to tokenization.. ) works nice.. no bills or coins.. when you cash out (cuts bell) and resets automatically.. No key required..

 

Try performing a netplex auto-configure (4.3 in menu).  Should clear after that.
