Title: Spotty display on a Bally V5500
Post by: proten on May 30, 2012, 12:13:32 AM
I have a Bally V5500 that has spots on the card faces.
I have two other boards that work great so I know that it is the one board.
Could it be a bad video chip or ram?
Which chip is which (mains,video,memory)?

Ram cleared and no change.
Thinking it may be a ram chip or video chip.

I would think ram chip before I would think of the video chip. I have seen arcade games that act similar and those
have been due to bad ram.

Any chance you have a schematic for this particular board? I am looking to find which IC(s) control the Deal/Draw
buttons so if you have it then it would be greatly appreciated
