Title: NXT (550) & MC-40 Harness? Post by: Worldwide Gaming on June 11, 2012, 05:24:55 PM Does anyone have any information on how to correctly connect an MC-40 (Personality 14) in place of an old CC-16D on an upgraded 550 to NXT machine?
It got the standard 550 Optics (3 pairs of xmit/rcv & a 4-pin connector). The CC-16D worked fine reading just the Sense info but the MC-40 outputs Sense, Tilt, and Credit. I've tried each of those outputs into Pin 1 on the WMS, but all cause an error. Also spoke with Coin Mechanisms regarding timing of pulses - but unfortunately, they did not have the info for the NXT available - just their own MC-40... On the WMS side: 1 - Input/Sense 2 - Output/INH 3 - Output/12VDC 4 - GND On the MC-40 PR14 INHHI: 1 - GND 2 - Output/Sense 3 - Output/Tilt 4 - Output/Credit 5 - n/a 6 - Input/12VDC 7 - Ctrl-In/INH The old CC-16D was wired as follows: 1 - INH 2 - SENSE 3 - n/a 4 - n/a 5 - 12VDC 6 - GND Title: Re: NXT (550) & MC-40 Harness?
