Title: S2000 enhanced boards with the piggyback board Post by: sbsgroup on June 17, 2012, 12:15:06 AM I have this board in new machine and wondered if ram clear and key works the same as on my older machines?
Thanks Title: Re: S2000 enhanced boards with the piggyback board Post by: cowboygames on June 17, 2012, 12:21:07 AM Yep, use the same procedure you would for a 500 series board
Title: Re: S2000 enhanced boards with the piggyback board Post by: sbsgroup on June 17, 2012, 12:29:41 AM I am still learning but the older boards have two amber lights that light up in the 1 and 2 position when the clear is done, the 1 and 2 are green on the enhanced board( is this different color same meaning?)

Title: Re: S2000 enhanced boards with the piggyback board Post by: sbsgroup on June 17, 2012, 12:38:26 AM Thanks for the info!! I think you were involved in a post a while where someone with an enhanced board was getting a netplex error, I have a machine that when you boot it up it pulses and gives an netplex down error. By pulse I mean that the bill acceptor cycles for a split second and the reel lights cycle at the same time for a split second and the amber and red light on the mpu flash. Did this get resolved in the prior post.

A single green or amber light in conjunction with a flashing red light indicates that the initialization process has been interupted due to a problem with the MPU. There are various things, some fixable some not, that can cause that problem
