I dont know what the "technical" term is, but i call it a display control board display board.  If you need just the board, we can figure out a price for it,  or you can buy the whole set. Heres a link to the one i have for sale. If youre interested, let me know.

How do you know you're missing it? Machines with 6 digit credit displays don't have them, but machines with 5 digit credit displays do. What's yours?

One kind of display panel has five  (5) digits, the other kind has six (6) digits.  :5-
How many digits does yours have?  :128-

Look at my last post in your other topic, I explained it there. It all has to do with how many digits your credit meter, win meter and coins played meter are capable of displaying. That picture you posted of your VFD display that's too long is a 5-5-2 because there are 5 led's to display amounts for credits and wins each and only 2 led's to display number of coins played. You can check the one installed in your machine either by removing it and counting or shining a flashlight through the glass and counting those led displays. You could also post a picture of it removed from the machine and we'll tell you

 I'd say 4 1/2 digits.
