Title: S2000 Reel Lights Operation Post by: kenong on June 30, 2012, 04:54:33 AM Hi. I just received my Double Diamond King Machine & the 6 Reel Lights in each Reel, don't seem to be operating correctly in no credit or credit mode. I ran the test--Reel Lamp Test (Option 4.10), from the tests in the Software manual- Version 9, & the test seems to run correctly, with correct flash & all lights opreating.
In Normal static mode. just sitting or turning, the 3 left hand vertical row of lights, in each reel are on, very dim, & the 3 right hand row of lights, in each reel are off..... Is this normal or do I have a problem? What should I check? Thanks, Ken Title: Re: S2000 Reel Lights Operation Post by: brianfink on July 03, 2012, 01:15:54 AM I'm not really sure what is wrong but I can tell you that on all the backlit machines I have seen all of the lights are lit dimly but you usually have to push the reel to the left alittle to really see the right row of lights. I would think if they work in test mode but not while the machine is in play that it's probly a software issue.

He might have a game running on S+ chips or an SB that doesn't support backlit reels. We need him to turn the machine off, pull the MPU and identify what chips are on it.
