Title: Jennings Little Duke
Post by: Wynter on July 03, 2012, 11:21:05 AM
Good morning,

My first and only (for now and not counting a dead video poker) slot is a decent Jennings little Duke.  The problem is that when a Jak pot is hit the payout isn't tripped.

My question is, Can I make the three bars line up when it's out of the case?  I want to see what motion and what lever action happens.

Thanks,
Wynter

Yes.  You can engage the mechanism and line up a JackPot with the mech outside of the cabinet.  Pull the mech out.  Insert coin  and manually pull the "handle/ engage lever"  down to start the mech... notice there is a "clock" / " governor"  fan motor that  basically controls the   flow and speed of the mech.  If you stop the "fan" motor the mech will stop in the middle of a cycle.  You can then align the "reels"  to  BAR BAR  BAR  JP .... release the fan motor and then watch the payout  slides... there is (usually) a JP tripping lever that follows the pay slides and "kicks"  the JP  lever  (on the cabinet JackPot).    Hope this helps.  (I don't have a Little Duke right now...otherwise I would've posted some pics.)

Thanks for the help,  it is up and working properly.  There was a lever that locked the jack pot lever so it couldn't be released. Once it was moved out of the locked posistion it works as it should.

Thanks again, I'm off to ask some more questions find another machine.
