Title: 5 Reel Bulb Type Post by: sbsgroup on July 07, 2012, 12:28:36 AM Can you tell me what type of bulb to use on backlite reels on a 5 reel game the bulbs say G12 and are 14volt bulbs what does that translate into in real bulbs? Thanks
Title: Re: 5 Reel Bulb Type Post by: Buzz on July 07, 2012, 04:12:28 PM It would translate that you need a 14V ( T 3 1/4 wedge base ) I think most are using a 591 http://na.suzohapp.com/lighting/91101800.htm I think the last ones I bought were 658. ( I'm cheap ) What ever you buy, don't get LED's.
If you think about it, unless you have a 3, 5, 9 line or a Wild Cheery that pays above and below the pay line, there is no need to replace the 6 bulbs above and 6 below the pay line. Just a added expense for 12 bulbs that are not used. I guess with a 5 reel your gonna need all of them. I got a email telling me I'm all FU ( is that any supprise ) the correct bulb is a XE359 Title: Re: 5 Reel Bulb Type Post by: sbsgroup on July 07, 2012, 07:49:47 PM These are the older reels, I put the Xenon bulbs in the machine they do not work they will not come on at all so those must not be the correct bulbs. I am not really sure what is correct.
