Would someone tell me what this chip does? Its a S2000 machine double diamod five liner.

If they are not the same could you get a ram mis-match? Thanks I thought they might be ram or bios chips.

No, ram mismatch is when you corrupt the memory on them by removal, change, game change or anything else that changes what the motherboard thinks they should have for info. They lose memory whenever removed from a power source, be it wall source or the memory backup battery

Well I did remove the memory chips an put them back. Can it be reset.

Yep, open door and use jackpot reset key turning it 3 or 4 times as the messages on the VFD display change should take care of it
