Title: IGT Game King PC Emulator Post by: arrowdrewls on July 12, 2012, 06:15:24 AM Is there some sort of emulator that allows you to play actual IGT Game King Video Poker on the PC. I want to be able to change the maximum coin in, paytables, and features. Can anyone recommend such a thing. Does it exist?
Title: Re: IGT Game King PC Emulator Post by: Foster on July 12, 2012, 06:35:16 AM Masque is the only one that I know of that has done Game King/I game themes for the PC and Mac usually they include some of the Reel Slot themes Haywire, Double Diamond.
They have licensing from IGT to release the games. cheap way to get my I game fix until Apple stopped PowerPC code support in OS X the only thing you can do is increase how often you win I do not think you can change max coins or the like. you might get to choose 1 to 5 coins as max coins on the S+/S2000 themes I cant get mine to load anymore OS X no longer supports PowerPC Apps I need to find the discs and see if I can reload it so if the Intel code is available so it will run I do remember one having 2 versions of red white and blue (1 line game and a 3 or 5 line game) If there is another emulator for the game king it might be on the MAME platform I do not think it has been done on MAME yet. MAME uses ROM binaries from actual games, and decoding how the Base ROM works in a Game King may or may not have been done. I know a NLG member did code Players Edge and some S+ stuff for MAME. I appreciate it. I will look and see what I can find. What I really want is Bonus Poker or something similar that has the double up feature. I've seen a lot of copy cats but none function the same as the machine. I like that feature, however it costs me too much. I have been looking on craigslist for a Game King but everyone wants $500-$2000 and my wife won't let me spend that kind of money.
