Title: rgb 1401 and tranformer problem
Post by: midas touch on July 15, 2012, 01:36:12 PM
I have a rgb1401 on a fortune 1 poker game......At the isolation transformer I have 120v at primary and 138v at secondary....Will this cause a problem with the monitor? Right now it flashes at power-up. Should I replace this transformer?   Any input would be appreciated...Also,will it hurt to put power to the monitor on the bench without transformer in the circuit while troubleshooting. This newbie needs your help.....Mark

Rare for the Iso Tranny to go... Don't test the monitor with out it, it is required...

OK thanks...  I ended up flipping the leads so that the monitor would get 107 v instead of 140 v.....I think I'd rather be on the low side than the high side.....
