Title: Ultra Series Jackpot Bell Post by: uniman on July 22, 2012, 03:16:47 PM After reading Yoeddy's post for a jackpot bell in a Game King thought I would post how to add a bell on the Ultra Series.
The jackpot bell is mounted in the topbox of an upright, not sure on the slant top? The relay used is the same as the handle relay. A three pin connector goes from the handle relay location CN1 to a four pin connector CN5 of the upright backplane. On the slant top CN5 is labeled bell, or jp bell, something like that. Only the outer two wires of the four pin connector are used ( 1 & 4 on the four pin and 1 & 3 on the three pin). The 110v power comes from the 110v power distribution panel behind the hopper. There are eight available 110v connections. If all are used you can disconnect one used for the 'switched" outlets next (left) to the panel. You run the wires up behind the BV to the topbox and connect to CN3 on the relay. The bell connects to CN2 on the relay. CN2 is a four pin connector with only pins #1 & #4 used. With every win the bell rings while the credits are counted. And it will ring when jackpots are hit too. |
