I don't know what cause that error. Need help. Thanks Rick Title: Re: Game type mismatch error Post by: cowboygames on July 29, 2012, 11:52:17 AM After a clear you have to go into the keychip menu and se t the game type. Defaults to unknown after a clear and you need to select between upright or slant top

Title: Re: Game type mismatch error Post by: morspeed on July 31, 2012, 01:43:19 AM That is not correct. Cowboy is referring to "machine type unknown" You have a game type mismatch because the stepper game chips you have on the board do not match with the SB chip. You need to get the correct Stepper game chips that go with whatever SB or "base" chip you have in your machine. What are the base and stepper game chips that are on the board. That would be the first thing to know.

It was a machine type mismatch. Sorry about that. Title: Re: Game type mismatch error Post by: cowboygames on July 31, 2012, 02:08:25 AM Glad you got it. It helps to be a bit of a mind reader, lol, I knew what you meant
Title: Re: Game type mismatch error Post by: morspeed on July 31, 2012, 02:12:59 AM oh ok because there is a big difference between machine type unknown and game type mismatch. LOL
Title: Re: Game type mismatch error Post by: cowboygames on July 31, 2012, 02:21:08 AM You're absolutely right Tommy and you had the right answer for that situation, but for the way his question was written I saw it as a machine type mismatch problem. No big deal, it's running now
