Title: S2000 bill Validator configuration
Post by: rickaaaer on August 02, 2012, 05:26:16 PM
Now that I have my s2000 Double Diamond 5 liner working I need to get the bill validator working. I want to start with configuration. Not sure how it should be setup besides enableing the bill validator. Which I have done. It takes bills but spits them out and the bv light on the front is not lit. Hope this enough info for config. help.
Thanks Rick

Did you set a limit for it in menu 3?

The reason I ask is, if your limits are set such that adding any bill will exceed the credit limit on the machine, based on how many are already on the machine, then even though the BV works, it won't take any bills. Also, when you turn the machine on does the BV go through it's start up test cycle?

Push the white test button on the MPU board and scan down to menu 3 using the bet one credit button. Enter sub menus using the spin reels button and back out using the max bet button

Rick  Correct me if I've got lost .  You have 3 threads going about this BV. ( if it's the same machine ) If it is the same machine you have a Mars BV and not a WBA. They are made by two different manufactures, as different as a Ford and a Chevy.

Does it go through it's start up test cycle? I'm not sure, but it does make a nosie. I guess that might be the sest cycle.
