Title: IGT S+ Hopper Problem
Post by: whinkle on August 09, 2012, 10:41:35 PM
I have an IGT S+ upright slot.  I put a twenty in and someone hit the cashout button and there was no money in the hopper.  I put $10 in quarters in the hopper but no coins are spitting out.  I opened and closed the door a few times to cycle the quarters through but still no quarters come out.  Is there any way to clear it so it doesn't try and spit the coins out or does it have to?  If there is a jam in the hopper, where would I look for it?  Any other suggestons?  The error code is 3200.  Thanks.

I'm assuming the hopper is running. If so, it usually won't grab the last 50 or so coins. So you either need to put more coins in or you can clear the credits by pulling the CMOS on the MPU for a second and plug it back in(then clear the errors you will get). Do not pull any boards with power applied.

Can you hear the hopper spinning, trying to spit out coins?  Do you have the correct coins in the hopper (ie. quarters in a quarter hopper, or dollar tokens in a dollar hopper)?  Had the hopper previously worked?
