Here's a lesson I learned on my Cham2+; If your downloading a text message to be displayed on the meter, download immediately after the Cham2+ boots up and your success rate will greatly improve! Title: Re: Please help does somebody have manual for mikohn Cham 2+ Post by: Kellyat1111 on August 11, 2012, 01:54:43 PM I think I may be sick I tried to hook up this meter to a s2000 and the cable does not fit does this mean it's not compatible
Title: Mikohn cham2+ can it be connected to s 2000 Post by: Kellyat1111 on August 11, 2012, 02:11:33 PM I just realized on the mother board the cable I have going from mikohn cham2+ will not fit in the board where it says progressive :52- :103-
Title: Re: Please help does somebody have manual for mikohn Cham 2+ Post by: uniman on August 11, 2012, 03:54:12 PM You most likely need a different harness or need to make one up. Each slot manufacture has a different way of pulsing the mikohn for incrementing the progressive and a different signal for telling it the jackpot was hit. Each slot manufacture has a slightly different wiring scheme. In the back of the Cham2 manual should be wiring diagrams for IGT.
I have only connected the Cham2+ to Universal brand slots so maybe some IGT folks can step in and help you more. Title: Re: Please help does somebody have manual for mikohn Cham 2+ Post by: Mr. Dinoman on August 11, 2012, 07:51:44 PM This link might help you....

One on the motherboard and one on the Comm board that is the board in the middle of the AC Dist box mounted on the back wall with a ribbon cable between it and the motherboard Both Progressive ports work the same way and are the same style connector, a 6 pin Molex SL 0.100" connecter The S+ and S2000 both use the J7 connector on the Cham II+ a 14 pin version of the ATA (PATA) Connector on Computer Motherboards, it also has 0.100" spacing Please post a clear picture of the harness and try to a good close up of the connectors when doing it.
