Title: Bally S5500 SMI Post by: colorado on August 11, 2012, 02:42:37 PM I recently purchased four Bally S5500 slot machines.
Pretty rough shape, and mostly stripped out. I want to try and restore them... All are missing MPU boards. I am trying to identify SMI/Personality chip numbers. If I list the game name and the numbers I captured from either the reel strips or Tags on the Reels, could someone please tell me if these would be the correct numbers to be used to purchase SMI/Personality chips that would go to each game. I have one working MPU board that I planned to use to test the machines, before I commit to purchasing an MPU and other misc. parts to restore each of them.
