Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: CVslots on August 12, 2012, 02:16:01 AM What $$$ bill are you trying to get it to accept? Try a $1....
Also, how many credits are on your machine? Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 12, 2012, 02:26:34 AM All of them ive tried
0 credits Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: CVslots on August 12, 2012, 02:55:10 AM Did you happen to push the white reset button inside the machine before you were "pushing buttons"? If so, you may have gotten into the settings and changed something that disabled your bill validator.
If you do a search at the top of the home page here, you will find the info on how to re-activate your Bill Validator. The members here have spent many days, weeks, months, and, in many cases, YEARS contributing info, so I doubt the info you find here will "blow". If you cannot find the info by performing a search, then you can visit the Bill Validator (DBV-45, 145, 200) forum and/or look for similiar posts in the S-Plus Reel Games forum where you originally posted this post. By the way, the info you find does apply to specific game themes (the game name on the glass and the reel strips) unless you are talking about game programs, which you are not. The info applies to the game platform as a whole, such as S-Plus, S2000, Vision, etc. Good luck on your search and post back if you come up empty handed! It would help to know what SP chip you have. Use the link in the previous post to let us know. Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 12, 2012, 03:06:08 PM SP 805

Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: poppo on August 12, 2012, 09:22:52 PM if i disabled it would it still take bill? You can not diectlly dissable ithe BV in self test. All you can do is change a limit that would reject the bill if it puts it over that limit (i.e. setting the credit limit to 0). If it were disabled, it would not even try to take the bill. I don't have a PSR for that SP chip, but with no credits on the machine, press the self test button until you have a 7 in the coins played and see what is dispayed. That is the credit limit and should not be 0. This is assuming you have not done anything else to the machine. Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 12, 2012, 09:25:30 PM any info how to ge to that to change it?

Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 12, 2012, 09:33:09 PM has 0600
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: poppo on August 12, 2012, 09:43:41 PM Ok, so it's not the limits. Did you change anything else? Did you pull out the cash box or remove the transort?
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: poppo on August 12, 2012, 10:36:27 PM Here is the PSR for a SP810 It should be very close to your 805.
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: proten on August 12, 2012, 11:01:10 PM Here is the PSR 805
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: poppo on August 12, 2012, 11:05:17 PM Looking at the correct PSR, go back and press the self test butting until you have a 7 in the coins played. Then press it one more time (you should still have a 7 in the coins played). What is displayed?
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 13, 2012, 01:34:52 PM It also has 0600 but u can change this one using the spin button
Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: poppo on August 13, 2012, 01:47:17 PM Ok, that seems ok.
It is possible that your BV head just died or is dirty. Have you tried cleaning it and making sure nothing is stuck inside? In case you don't know, here are some pictures on how to open the head and transport. Be sure to put the transport back in properly (see the link Buzz posted earlier for that). Do not use alcohol to clean the head optics. But be sure the belts and rollers are clean. I use belt-ease (you can get it at walmart). If the transport is not grabbing the bill, it will reject it. Title: Re: Haywire rejecting bills Post by: Rodneyo on August 16, 2012, 04:15:09 AM Here is the PSR 805 THANKS to your post of this I was able to finally find my way thru the options menu and fyi the BV was set to canadian AYE.......
