Title: bally s5500 change light Post by: rannyxx on August 13, 2012, 10:57:48 PM Hi....Can anybody help ..........after a battery change and good safe ram reset my bally s5500 red, white and blue 2 quarter machine has developed a problem . When the machine is being played, the "Change button light" comes on randomly! and it can be turned off (or on) ok without affecting the game, but the button will not turn the tower light on! (Bulbs are ok). Also there are no trouble codes displayed. When playing.... the light just comes on, I turn it off and after a few coin cycles it pops back on.....

Nope, never see that one before. However, my fist thought is always "what happend last". Since it was your battery change I'm gonna make an educated guess and say you have a open or loose wire in the button deck. I'd look around at your wiring and gently wiggle or tug around the change button wires. Good luck.
