Title: Where has this machine been?
Post by: Big Ed Deline on August 31, 2012, 04:40:09 PM
Is there anyway of telling what casino a slot machine came from by its serial number?  I am sure its near impossible to tell after its left its first casino,  but is there any way to see what casino origionally bought a particular slot machine?  Just thought it would make interesting conversation piece as you are showing it to friends to say "yep, that baby once sat inside the  _______  hotel and casino".

Thats how I always look too. 2 of my 3 newest machines had tickets left in it from the casino. One came from the Bellagio in Vegas and the other came from an indian casino in the Bay area of California.

My 4 bar top VPs spent the end of their production years in a Cripple Creek, Colorado casino. They still had tags on them along with the log books going back over 10 years. Makes the back story even more interesting at that point.
