Title: Bonus game sound isn't woking. Post by: Roninva on September 01, 2012, 12:29:59 PM I have a IGT Run for your money reel slot with the bonus game feature at the top. It has made sounds, but only maybe twice in 6 months. I have removed everything from the cabinet and cleaned it from the dust and bad contacts with circuit board cleaner. It didn't make any difference. I have tried it with the top door open to see if the volume knob was any issue, tapping around hasn't changed anything, can't see anything loose. Any replacement boards or anything to try next?

They're both main MPU's for the bonus game, one of the two were used depending on the age of the machine. Might be a connection problem with solder joints or whatever on that board. Those MPU's are getting difficult to find. Only ones I've seen in the last year or so were on Ebay in the UK

There's a daughter board on it that makes it into whatever game theme IGT needed. Kinda like they do with SB chips on S2000's and SP chips on S+'s
