Title: cam lock assembly mid 60's door Post by: daisyjuke on September 05, 2012, 06:14:41 AM Hi, Does anyone have a detailed pic and/or description of a door cam lock? I think mine is incomplete as I just can't work out how it should operate. mine is not electronic.

POST A PICTURE.

It is screwed to the door by 3-4 Phillips screws. The link attached to your lock attaches to the sliding door latch with an e-clip. I should have one, just need to know how tall your door is?

It is one solid piece of stamped metal that has two hook shaped pieces that the door locks on too. It possible that missing too if your doors slide latch is gone. Can't tell by your pic if it's there.
