Title: Correct sound chip? Post by: Red7 on September 06, 2012, 07:08:20 PM Hey there,
Does anyone know the proper sound chip for this machine? and where I can get one? It has one in it now.. although it will not play any sounds when you hit spin-spin-2x, or spin-spin-3x.. but if you hit spin-spin-spin, and spin-spin-double pay.. then it has the correct audio playing.. thanks Steve Title: Re: Correct sound chip? thanks Steve Title: Re: Correct sound chip? Post by: Red7 on September 07, 2012, 11:58:11 AM Well I did give it a shot.. I took the chip out and tried to straighten that pin.. Being my first time working with this kind of chip.. it was a bit of a mess I should say.. The pin has left the chip forever.. and the machine no longer has any voice of it's own.. :(
If anyone has a chip please let me know.. Thanks (I don't know if it even was the right chip to start with.. possibly could have been if the bent pin was stopping it from operating properly? I will never know.. ) Steve Title: Re: Correct sound chip? Post by: a69mopar on September 07, 2012, 08:47:45 PM Hi Steve,
I have one, email me... The bent pin would have it to not work at all, not the incorrect sounds. Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: Correct sound chip? Then apply the iron to the bottom side of the pin, just until it melts into place. If anyone has a chip please let me know.. The pins are very fine, and the heat can affect the chip if you're not careful.Remove the iron in a quick jerk while staying parallel to the pin Title: Re: Correct sound chip?
