Title: I+ IGT TouchScreen Controller pinouts & compatibility
Post by: Worldwide Gaming on September 11, 2012, 02:07:20 PM
Does anyone have a schematic of the different IGT touchscreen controllers use in the I+ machines?  I'm assuming different boards are for different screen types.

Any info would be of great assistance!

In looking at all of Worlwide Gaming's posts for 2012 (about two dozen or so), they're all "asking" for help?  I didn't see any where WWG was "offering" help?  As a vendor, how come you don't regularly offer your expertise on this site like say, for example, CVSlots?  Just curious if your customer service is solely dedicated to your long distance 763 number of if you extend your service elsewhere?  Like to know before I buy and pay restocking fees.

Thanks,
:Dave

Because we're not allowed any time to peruse the boards looking for problems that we may have a solution for and then spend the time answering them.

We even have to punch out for restroom breaks.

However, I do answer direct questions sent to me.

Officially, we offer 30 days of support to customers for items that they have purchased directly from us.  Any support beyond that point is billed to the customer.

In fact, I'm probably going to catch hell for taking the time to respond to this  :279-

Sounds like a nice non-hostile and light hearted place to work.

Where's my bullshit flag when I need it? :37- Oh yeah, probably in front of the TV from all the political ads lately. :97- I respond on here the vast majority of the time when I'm NOT at work. All about commitment to help I guess...

Well, feel free to pile on all you like.  Hopefully, the people that I *have* helped will appreciate it.

My life after a long day at work does not involve doing anything related to work.  I love slots, but they're not my hobby.

I'm not retired and am a busy person.  Go ahead and judge away if you so choose.

Luckily for all the haters, this whole thing has now blown up in my face and we've now been told that we can no longer use the NLG forum.

It's been a fun 8+ years.  Take care and best of luck to everyone.

Sounds like Worldwide Gaming isn't a good place to work or do business? :7-

Karsten - this isn't about you, it's about WWG.  If I were you, I'd be finding a new job.  This site is for slot enthusiast.  I work full time as well in IT and I too have a very busy life, but I still enjoy logging on in the evening (and sneak a logon through the work day) because it is my hobby to see how I can help others with the little knowledge I've gleaned from the many contributors on this site.  It's disappointing to see WWG engage in such poor business practices and take advantage of newcomers to the slot gaming world.

Take care and best of luck to you as well, particularly in finding a fulfilling career.

Hey Dave, I just seen this post and THANK YOU for the kind words! I didn't particularly care for the comment made by the WWG person implying that I was retired or apparently not busy, but whatever, at least I'm doing something I actually enjoy, and making a few $$$ here and there.

The way I see it is simple, by helping someone out (when I can, which isn't often), it's just paying it forward. So much of what I've learned, in the short time I've been doing this (whatever it IS that I'm doing, lol!), I owe to NLG and the members (the rest i owe to my hubby Darrell). But regardless if I've learned it, I feel it's only right to pass it along and help when I can.

Heya Buzz – Karsten from WWG here.  Could you please deactivate/delete our NLG account?

Thanks

This is a email I got from Karsten, I didn't know I had the authority to deactivate an account.  Damn I must have been promoted and Joey didn't tell me.  Wounder how much it pays ? I sure could use the money.
