Title: Casino trip Post by: PWRSTROKE on February 21, 2009, 02:28:49 AM Well, Me and my wife went to the casinos last weekend. It was a good time as we only go 3-4 times a year. This trip was not a lucrative one but then again it was. we only played highr denom. games $5 and above. I started on a top dollar. 200.00 in and hit 600.00 -triple bar -double diam-triple bar. well this went on all thru the night. I hit the red hottie for 600.00 as well, the whl of fort. hit the 1000.00 on it etc. As my stubs/tickets collected my wife took them from my pocket to play the 25.00 slots and won nothing----- :30- :30-. LOST 1275.00 by the time it was said and done---- :8-. Oh well we did have fun doing it. It usually works out better for (me) whoops us. Thought I would share-B. - :5-

Dan (tacman) Thanks! :131- I couldn't quite place that stuff on the ceiling -- -- so I had the maintenance guys do it! :5- Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: dpalmi on May 16, 2009, 11:29:19 PM Thor, which casinos are those in reply #9? Hello! I thought the top one was the Tropicana and the bottom one (the inside pic) is New York New York.... Dan #2 Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: theDotster on May 16, 2009, 11:58:51 PM Thor, which casinos are those in reply #9? Hello! I thought the top one was the Tropicana and the bottom one (the inside pic) is New York New York.... Dan #2 The outside one says 'Tropicana' in blue neon on the building, you can see it under the street lamp. I think the Polo towers are to the left of it. I would guess as the NYNY for the inside shot too if we are having a sweepstake :-) Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: knagl on May 19, 2009, 08:34:41 AM Me and my better half agree that the bottom picture in #9 is indeed the newly remodeled and de-themed NYNY interior.
...and that's the first time we've ever agreed on anything. But seriously folks... The casino to the left of the Tropicana is Hooters (formerly the San Remo). Polo Towers are further north of where that shot was taken. Also, along the same note as one of the previous replies, I give you Paris Las Vegas: (http://i41.tinypic.com/avncdv.jpg) Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: tacman on May 19, 2009, 09:38:25 AM Hey, Kevin if thats an inside NYNY pic, do they still have the banks of original 550's and Gamemakers on the floor?

I even have pictures somewhere in one of my backup CD's of the PC's Post screen, I remember they were some generic mainboard bios (not even a name brand like Dell, HP or compaq). Interesting that with that setup costing tens of thousands, they would buy cheap motherboards to run them? I'd be using server class hardware on it. This was in the late 90's early 2000's so they were using Windows 2000 as the OS.
Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: knagl on May 19, 2009, 07:02:25 PM Hey, Kevin if thats an inside NYNY pic, do they still have the banks of original 550's and Gamemakers on the floor? I highly doubt it. I don't think there are any GameMaker's on the strip. I saw a few downtown, none converted to TITO though. I saw a TON of them at the Pioneer in Laughlin, though.Title: Re: Casino trip Post by: tacman on May 19, 2009, 08:09:58 PM Wow, when I was there in January, they had about 20-25 standard WMS 550's and about 10 Gamemakers on the floor. Guess they cleaned house and upgraded. :97-
