Title: Need help with PE Poker machine
Post by: slots8168 on February 21, 2009, 02:39:57 PM
I have a PE poker machine that is a bar top, the model number is 3670C1. The machine has a label that says  Showcase Slots out of Las Vegas.
I bought this machine off Craig list without the monitor. I replaces the monitor and turn the machine on, the monitor say Door Open / Call Attendance. I do see door eyes on the top lid covering the monitor, but none on the front cover or anywhere else. Hoping someone can help
me get this machine going .
Thanks Slot8168

That's an IGT PE+ bartop drop-in model.

There are two doors on the machine that can give you the "Door Open" message.  The first is the top lid which, as you said you can see the optics on.  The second is the front panel that covers the hopper, bottom of the monitor, etc.  You need to put that door in and have it latched (there's a little round metal knob in the center of the machine (left to right) that can be accessed when you have the top lid open -- lift up on that knob to allow the front door to go back into its place), then close the top lid.

Let us know if you've done that and still have a "Door Open" message.  Pictures always help, too!

Thanks for the info/ Now got machine up and running but no cards displayed. When I insert coins the credit is displayed and if I push the hold button the the hold is displayed but no cards. It makes the sound but no cards. I can go into the menu and see all the different game displayed.
Thanks Slots8168

Sounds like you're either missing graphics chips, have corrupted graphics chips, missing a CAP chip, have a corrupted CAP chip, or have a jumper set wrong on your board (depending on what game is installed).  Are you able to post a picture of your MPU board?  That would make troubleshooting a lot easier.  Turn the power off before you remove the board, of course!
