Title: Draw Poker Machine Post by: riverratmike on October 20, 2012, 07:01:11 PM I have the chance to purchase this machine for $50 bucks. Wanted to know what you guys think. Don't know much about it since I'm thinking about buying it from a friend of a friend. What model is this machine? No sure if it's a IGT or not. Thanks for any feedback.
Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: 4 Deuces on October 20, 2012, 07:33:19 PM Looks like an IGT Player's Edge (no plus) from late 80's. If it works, then you can't go wrong with $50. The parts are worth more than that. I love poker, so it's a "buy" from me. Good luck! :88- :Dave

Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: coorslight115 on October 23, 2012, 12:22:26 PM I have one that looks exactly like it an mine is a fortune one. would have to see the inside to be sure.
Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: coorslight115 on October 23, 2012, 12:29:42 PM Never mind, did not see that yours has 9 buttons to my 8.
So I would go with fortune II. PE is a bigger machine, attached a picture of one. Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: leapyearguy on October 23, 2012, 12:33:54 PM fortune one. the change switch is the tip off
Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: crgadyk on October 23, 2012, 01:53:27 PM It looks just like the fortune 1 that I had as well. The buttons are the flat style where I think they went to the raised buttons by at least the pe+.
I've never had a PE (non +) but that machine definitely looks like my old F1 Title: Re: Draw Poker Machine Post by: azgamingslots on October 23, 2012, 07:56:59 PM it's definitely a fortune I, -however i've seen the guts of a pe plus inside a fortune I cabinet, probably to circumvent California antique slot law.
fortune II has the deal/draw, cash-out and bet buttons on the right side of the cabinet mounted in plexiglass monitor cover. button placement can be a giveaway, however i have seen modifications or buttons completely replaced in the f-1 and f-II ps: there is a huge difference between the players edge and players edge plus -the only sure way to tell is the way the main board connects. Looks great, my second picture is my PE+ machine, that is why the layout looks better. I showed you two different machines I had.
