Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: Foster on February 23, 2009, 09:22:10 AM Very easy to do.
It is on the MPU MPU is located behind the hopper. (no need to remove the hopper) Open door Look for the mpu cover/tray behind the Hopper There is a volume control on the Top-Left edge of the MPU tray, Volume control is normally blue. Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: JRR4 on February 23, 2009, 02:01:29 PM I had that same question and until I found out about the knob I taped a folded up piece of paper towel over the speaker to muffle the sound. After I found the knob I had a good laugh at myself.

Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: Jim on February 23, 2009, 03:56:39 PM Just a tip for some people that haven't played around with the S+ volume:
When you want to adjust the volume level: with the machine open, find the small white button on the coin in optics board. Push one time to put a credit on the machine, press spin button , while game is operational reach in and adjust the volume to desired level ( you have to be Quick to do this, but its easily done) it just eliminates opening and closing the door to see if you have it where you want it . Hope this helps Jim Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: jay on February 23, 2009, 04:16:17 PM Great advice K+
I have been reading a number of your posts and you bring a tremendous wealth knoweledge and troubleshooting to the forum thanks for your participation. And for those of us who do prefer the sock method this will give you the opportunity to test differnt thicknesses of socks ...... :72- Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: JRR4 on February 23, 2009, 04:19:47 PM That's good to know. I never knew you could get it to spin with the door open. Makes dusting the reels easier too ;.)

Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: StatFreak on February 23, 2009, 07:30:43 PM Just to add, the volume will seem a bit softer to your ears when you use this method because you will be behind the open door, so adjust the volume to be slightly lower than the level that you desire to get your intended level when the door is closed.
A old padded bra works better than a sock. :72- ...and probably smells better, too. :25- :30- :20- :47- Title: Re: Volume Control S+ Machine Post by: OhioGaming on February 24, 2009, 02:50:54 AM A old padded bra works better than a sock. :72- ...and probably smells better, too. :25- :30- :20- :47- [/quote] Depends on ... who has been wearing it. The volume on those are controlled through menus on the slot machine.

Then press the spin reels switch, it will beep each time you press the spin reels switch. that way you can adjust it with the door closed, with the latch up or open. Depending on how well the door is adjusted you may or may not need to hold the latch open. |
