Title: S+ Serra Silver, 2c Reel Sound Question Post by: JJL0412 on November 01, 2012, 06:17:38 PM Is there suppose to be reel sounds for the game? All other chimes/bells work normally. It has an SP0731 & SS4607 chip set. Dip switches are 1, 2 & 4 off & 3,5,6,7,8 on. DBV works w/ non-colored bills only. (regular bills).

Worst case, you will have to get a different SP chip (if SP731 doesn't support the reel sounds, but pretty sure it does). You will need to take a look at the PSR for SP731 and see what menu option it is. You can do a search here and find the PSR, it's been posted before. :88-

I guess I need to sit down and go through the test options to see what I can see. Not being that familiar with the procedures makes me a bit skiddish to mess it up. I know the dip switch 3 is on. I need to check to see if the reel sound in test is 0 or 1. and which type game SSilver is as to if it will make song for reel spin. I'll sure give it a try. :91-
Title: Re: S+ Serra Silver, 2c Reel Sound Question Post by: Buzz on November 01, 2012, 09:06:07 PM Jerry When you get a chance look under Rick's FAQs on the home page, right hand side and you can find a ton of information about S+ machines. example in the IGT Bible look at 2 coin, then Sierra Silver, and you will see that your machine is a Type 5.
