Title: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: cowboygames on November 01, 2012, 08:58:01 PM That is the question. I understand wanting to have games just like the casino, been there/done that and switched them all back to single denom, but I want to find out why others spend the money and go to the hassle of having this feature. It was cool for a short time, but I never played anything other than the highest available denom. I'd like to know what the attraction is for you guys and what your feelings are either for or against. Thanks for the input...
Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: Yoeddy1 on November 01, 2012, 09:04:48 PM Biggest reason...because we can. :)
I switch around too. If I'm winning, I'll switch to the higher denoms to try and lock up the machine. Jason Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: CommTech on November 02, 2012, 12:08:37 AM I llike to mix it up a bit. I will always start with the $1 denomination and occasionally hit the $5 denomination. If I hit something, then I will stay with the $5 until I start running low on credits, then I will drop back to $1 or lower depending on the credit balance.
I wish my local Casino had more multi-denomination machines. They have very few. Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: MikeCamp on November 02, 2012, 12:32:37 AM My reason is simple but probably stupid at the same time. The reel glass shows that it had multi denomination capability at one point and if it says it I want it :) A new reel glass would probably be much cheaper but since I already had the majority of the parts it just seems like the thing to do. Plus guys like gadgets and if I can get it working thats just one more cool gadget my machine has :) Personal taste I guess. Its kinda like the printer, until the bettor TITO came out even the printer was kinda silly but I still wanted it. Now if I could just figure out how to change the writing on the tickets :) I'll order the tito thingy and life will be good.

Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: staz on November 02, 2012, 02:09:24 AM mike changing the writing on the tickets is easy i got it down to less then 5 minutes.....lol if you need help let me no.....
Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: Foster on November 02, 2012, 02:36:15 AM Staz,
For your machine you set 3 denoms. The touch pad can be configured so that a column or row is one denom in your case the player 1 denom ($25) should be configured for buttons 1 and 3 player 2 denom ($50 for button 2 player 3 denom ($100) button 4 Also Staz you can configure all denoms to have the same payout as well. I doubt a high denom machine in a casino is below 92% most likely over 95%. Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: Yoeddy1 on November 02, 2012, 02:51:06 AM Staz, you need to rock this bad boy in your machine...especially since you're running TITO.
Seriously, has anybody seen a game running this multi-denom tag in a casino? Thanks, Jason Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: staz on November 02, 2012, 08:09:42 AM Staz, For your machine you set 3 denoms. Thanks, Jason i thought about rocking this one but even as nuts as i am i think playing that high of a denom would get me to want to play $1000 machines and that would = living in a card board box :97- :97- :208- Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: staz on November 02, 2012, 08:21:46 AM this is as high as i go :208-
Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: MikeCamp on November 02, 2012, 02:18:43 PM Those do look like some nice machines you folks have, little high denom for my wallet :) My chip and stickers are on the way thanks to Ros at CVSlots so my two S2000s should hopefully be good in a few days. I just noticed my two blue ghosts went away and now I'm a contributor :) Now, what does it take to get to that gold status? Reminds me of that episode of Frasier with the silver, gold and plat doors.
Jason, make that jacket a XL please. Love this site and all the great folks, Mike Title: Re: To Muti-denom Or To Not Muti-denom Post by: CVslots on November 02, 2012, 02:53:33 PM Staz, you need to rock this bad boy in your machine...especially since you're running TITO.
