Title: Tokens & Quarters together?
Post by: JJL0412 on November 07, 2012, 04:54:51 PM
Ben, I received the tokens today.  Thank You Very Much!!   :204-:131- I notice I have to drop them a bit slower or it may pass through with out registering, but that is no big thing. I zeroed the credits, removed the quarters. I swapped the quarter for the token in the comparitor. I dumped 1 bag in the hopper and 1 in the tray.  I noticed the coins were by passing the hopper and exiting the hole in the bottom of the case. I realized that would have been an 'Over flow' to the bottom cabinet. I moved the screw in the side of the hopper with the ground wire up 2 holes and that solved that problem.

Ok,   All ok. BUT..It still takes and credits quarters!   :103-  Please advise.  :99-

Any coins i put in over the 2 max, does not register in credits past 2.  But when you play the 2 credits, it dumps the extra coins back into the tray.  I put a dollar in and 4 credits came up. But I think that is the way it was before the tokens. Just wondering if that normal.  IN other words you can't put say 10 coins in a t a time and it will show 10 credits. But that's the way it was anyway.

Not understanding what he real issue is, you're describing several.

1: Needing to drop the tokens slower than the quarters or they don't register, sounds like an issue with the optics being too wide and the token doesn't catch all the optics on the way through, unless you're saying they don't drop to the hopper and instead drop to the coin tray, in which case see #2.

2: For the issue of accepting both quarters and tokens, adjust the selectivity screw on the comparator clockwise a bit at a time until it stops accepting the quarters.

3: Pretty sure this is normal for the S+ unless you have it set up for "Montana" ( also known as "Euro") credits, where they all credit to the game. You'll need a game chip that supports this option.

Thanks!  I appreciate the info. Think it's all resolved now.  :3-
