Title: Computer problems close casino again
Post by: LauraAZ on November 09, 2012, 10:14:20 PM
Apparently the Hollywood Casino is having computer problems
to such an extent that they closed and sent all of their
customers packing. It appears this also happened last week.
This was at their Maryland Heights, MO location. Any guesses on
what really is happening? Hackers? TITO problems?

Maryland Heights, MO (KSDK) - Hollywood Casino reopened its gambling floor Friday afternoon after a computer glitch forced gamblers and patrons to vacate the premises.

NewsChannel 5 received calls from gamblers just after 5:30 a.m. who called it a night and headed home after their gaming experience was cut short and they were asked to exit the gaming floor just past 5:00 a.m.

Calls to the Hollywood Casino went unanswered Friday morning and the Maryland Heights Police Department confirmed to the newsroom that the casino was experiencing another computer issue similar to one a week ago, shortly after the facility opened to the public.

Hollywood Casino took over the property formerly known as Harrah's in Maryland Heights after the license was bought and transferred to Penn National Gaming Incorporated by the Missouri Gaming Commission.
