Title: Optics Bypassed, Still Door Open MB Post by: swantzilla on November 17, 2012, 10:46:51 PM I have an intermittent, now solid DOOR OPEN MB error. The door optics have been bypassed and it worked for a few months, then worked after being on for about 20 minutes, and now it is solid. I did the Processor Input Tests and the Main Doormostly stays on 1 and occasionally goes to zero. The Coin Drop Door stays at 1 solid and the Bill Validator Door behaves like the Main Door, mostly 1 with an occasional jump to 0 and back. This is the second Super Stepper Board tried. Both have the tell tale batteries removed with no corrosion underneath. Yes, maybe 2 bad boards but I hate to buy a 3rd without a high confidence that it will fix it. Thank you for reading. :279-
Title: Re: Optics Bypassed, Still Door Open MB Post by: lindam1 on November 17, 2012, 11:12:32 PM I just spent 2 days with same type of issue. I clipped ..... well it felt like 6598 tie wraps and felt out ALL the wiring for the door optics and finally found a broken wire. good luck Lindsay
