Title: I'm In The Dark........Reel Light Post by: Glasact on November 20, 2012, 11:50:23 AM Just started getting a new machine cleaned and setup and noticed the reel light was out. i wiggled the tube a little and it came on. Didn't think much more about it. On the next power up it was off again so i replaced the bulb with a new one. Still no light so I ordered a replacement ballast from Rudy's and still no light. The machine is an IGT S2000 Triple Double Wild Cherry Roundtop. I also noticed that the bulb has warmth to the touch and an occasional flicker like it is starting to come on but it doesn't. So I ask the question, what should I be checking next?
Title: Re: I'm In The Dark........Reel Light Post by: Glasact on November 29, 2012, 12:25:37 PM Through process of elimination, I narrowed it down to a bad socket where the pins on the end of the bulb make contact, (or are suppose to). :103- I replaced the light assembly along with the attached harness and I once again have light. :89-
