The correct answer is NONE....... the Key 40 is for Video Slots (I+ GK+) However if you do obtain the correct Keychip for your S-2000 (Key 17, 31, 45 ...) it would only fit in 1 socket and that is where the Base Chip is (SB Chip) The correct Keychip is determined by type of CPU configuration and SG Chips, although many specialist here will tell you what they use and works for them and their configuration Best way to get CORRECT Keychip is post your SG Chip numbers Title: Re: S2000 KEY CHIP LOCATION Post by: SDBob on December 02, 2012, 04:42:26 PM Many thanks for the help. I was going to put the Chip 40 in my S2000. Whew ! The SG is SG000363 for the S2000. What key chip is best for a RAM clear.

You would need an IVC-00097 (or IVC-00224) to Clear the Ram and EEprom Then use Key 31 for Keychip options (you could use a Key 17 if not setting progressive if you had already) Unlike the Key 40 for I+ you will need separate Clear and Keychip for S-2000 unless you are running a later Enhanced R Board configuration, that you are not now Title: Re: S2000 KEY CHIP LOCATION Post by: SDBob on December 02, 2012, 07:35:04 PM Great, thank you very much for all the help! :244-
