Title: Bally E-Series - Reels Spining and not Stopping (E Series 2207)
Post by: JimMay3 on December 04, 2012, 10:49:54 PM
I have a probmatic problem with and Bally E-Series 2207 nickel machine; when it plays, it plays great, but seems to struggle on power up at times.

When off for a few days, it boots up fine, put a coin in, spins good, but just never stops spinning.  Open it up, check all connectors and remove reel assy, play around for about 30 minutes and then it just works?

Any help is apprciated...

Sounds like it needs the entire reel assembly lubed.

What is your error codes on the display?

???  It spins good, just not firing the solenoids on boot up all the time.  Sometime it works right away, other times you pull the handle and it will spin forever and not stop each reel.

No Codes displayed.

Check the white plug on the power supply behind the hopper on the back wall.. Check that connection for burnt connectors. The solder joints on the power supplys pins tend to have hair line cracks causing problems too.. One other thing i have noticed with the Bally E-Series machines is that they don't like operating in temps of 65 degrees and below?
