Title: S2000 Button Lights dont work Post by: sbsgroup on December 05, 2012, 12:31:03 AM I have a new white ice three reel s2000 the buttons work but don't light up. They all work fine the game plays like it is suppose to but the buttons just don't light any ideas? Could it be something is bad on the MPU it is an enhanced board.

Title: Re: S2000 Button Lights dont work Post by: cowboygames on December 05, 2012, 01:11:23 AM If I'm not mistaken, the only wiring from the door other than the IO card harness is the BV faceplate lighting and the door optics, so the button light wiring must run through the IO card

Title: Re: S2000 Button Lights dont work Post by: Jim on December 05, 2012, 02:40:47 PM if the game and all other lighting are normal you could have several things to check. since all the button lamps will not work there is one thing common to them. +13 vdc is applied to one side of all the lamps, coming from the door I/O. then the door I/O will provide a ground to lite each lamp as told by the cpu via the door I/O.
the 13vdc wire is the red wire going to all the lamps, you should be able to measure it from the lamp post to any machine metal part. Hope this helps Jim |
