Title: igt s+ ....wba bv cycles but will not except bills Post by: stgtech on December 07, 2012, 03:38:01 AM Hey guys i have an igt s+ upright red,white and blue...i have learned so much on your site that i am actually thinking of going to school to be a slot tech...my wba 13ss bill validator is getting power and does cycle....the 2 red lights are on by the dip switches which are all set to off position 1-8 .....$1 to $100 face up sign above where you insert money does not light up as where i believe it did before....ive worked on this problem for hours and spent alot of time on this site trying to find an answer myself...so now im reaching out to the experts to help me with this frustrating problem.....i have taken pics of bv to see if everything looks ok and try and figure it out...thanks so much for your time....Dino

Pull the BV out and turn on 1,2,3,4 & 8. Now slide it back in and (here's the hard part) turn off number 8. This will put the BV in self test mode. It should cycle and accept and stack bills. If not, try calibrating the unit. If it does accept, then there might be a communication problem between the BV and the machine. Title: Re: igt s+ ....wba bv cycles but will not except bills Post by: stgtech on December 09, 2012, 06:11:30 AM thanks jcm...did the self test and it worked but i realized after i changed cmos battery that i didnt do they set chip correctly so i solved the problem with your help...i have an updated for the transport eeprom ...it will take aq $20 bill but its still not taking the $100 bills...i am going to post a pic of the new eeprom...thanks so much for your help
